- What powers this site?
I use Wordpress with an assortment of plugins. A pack of wild monkeys do help out in some cases.
- What plugins do you use?
I use: Acronym Replacer, Paged Comment Editing, Search Hilite, Gravatar, Spam Karma, and WP-Grins. Although some features of the site are powered by quick and dirty PHP hacks in the template files. I also use an excellent image rotater from an article at alistapart.
- Who hosts your site?
Being the cheap guy that I am I’m on a free host. All jokes aside Lifelesspeople is a great host, I’ve had more uptime with them than I did with most of my paid hosts. So why pay for hosting when free is better.
- Do you use any software?
I use Adobe Photoshop 7 for most of my image editing work, SmartFTP for transfers, and Texturizer for most code editing.
- How can I get a cool avatar next to my name?
Register the email you post from at gravatar and within a few hours you will have an icon.
Design Related
- Who made this template?
This template is almost an original design by yours truly. A couple sites did influence the overall style of the site, the rdc theme was a definite eye opener for the diagonal lines.
- Did you really take all the header pictures?
Most of the pictures are taken by me, the rest are images from the stock exchange.

Yep.
- How did you learn to design and code?
I’m a self-directed or independent learner so if I want to learn something well I just read a book on the topic and then experiment with it. Design and Coding like all things in life require practice and I try to practice with this site.

- What camera do you use?
I use a crappy, Sony DSC-P52.
- Do you edit your images?
To make up for my camera and for the overall look of the images, I do some color correction and overall editing to the images. I don’t add anything to the images that didn’t exist beforehand.
- Can I buy a print?
Sure, if you contact me we can get something arranged.
