Spring

Its been a pretty busy week as usual and as usual here’s a recap. School has been boring as usual, we had 2 math quizzes and both were relatively easy, the only bummer this week was the German Problem quiz. Track practice was spend getting ready for the Indoor DVC and it ended up helping a lot.

On Thursday night we had the Freshmen Indoor DVC at Glenbard North High School. I ran the 4×800 and the 400M, and I finally discovered my niche in track. I was extremely nervous before the race but I just breathed and let fate decide. I ran the 4×800 with Kevin Box, Ian Simon, Uzman Khan. We ended up getting 2nd and I beat my PR by another 6 seconds. The 400 didn’t go quite as good, but after my 800 nothing could make me feel bad. We ended up winning the meet which was a complete surprise as we had not stacked (put the best runners in multiple events) the meet.
