First off, I would like to wish a Happy New Year to everyone. Hope this year brings the best of everything for you.
I’ve got a couple resolutions for this year that I’ll list out so that I can see how many of them I completely ignored, this time next year.
Academically, I want to make sure that I atleast look over the material before a quiz, to not get into a situation with a bad quiz.
Athletically, I want to improve my timing for Track and I want to train a bit harder so that I can do well in Cross Country.
Physically, I’m going to try and drop most kinds of chips and other kinds of junk food. I want to improve my resolution from last year, in which I reduced my drinking of pop, I want to stop drinking any soft drink with caffeine and only minute amounts of those without caffeine.
A major hope for the new year is to see the Asian countries trembling with this disaster to improve their situation. I wish to see them come out of this disaster stronger and better equiped for next time. For the rest of the world, I wish to see a more peaceful year.
Yesterday, I was at a New Years party and being that most were Sri Lankan’s the mood was a bit more somber this year. I got home pretty late and woke up equally late.
