Update : Homecoming

Don’t let today’s disappointments cast a shadow on tomorrow’s dreams.

Actually it really wasn’t a disapointment, I mean I understand why someone would have plans, and its cool that she’s going with her friends. Atleast she was nice enough to say I can come along. So its all cool with me.

As to reduce the confusion, or to add on to it. I’ll just run through how this whole thing got started and how it played out.

1. I was just talking to Kelly on AIM and she just started the bandwagon.

surfchenu1: about homecomin i’m not sure
kElLYBeLlIe31: are u going to ask anyone?
surfchenu1: its just school’s been pretty stressful for me
surfchenu1: and i don’t want to add more on
surfchenu1: even though i want to

kElLYBeLlIe31: who?
surfchenu1: its between a couple people
surfchenu1: but if i did i’d ask miki
kElLYBeLlIe31: u would ask miki?

2. Right after that, I thought about this for a couple minutes and posted the first homecoming thread here and told a couple people online about it.

3. Then came the planning stage, I gathered up all the things I knew about her and the ever so awesome hint of her locker combo by Kelly made the possibilities almost endless. Offcouse many ideas were thrown into the picture such as:
+ The traditional Rose or Teddy Bear with a Note
+ A flower made with starbursts and a note

4. I just combined these ideas together and came up with a plan to hang up lemon starbursts on strings to make it seem like a “stary sky”

5. So Thursday afternoon Harper, Deimantas, and I hung them up and then came the sort of uneasy feeling of waiting.

So at the end of the Day I’d like to thank Kelly for the original idea, Emma and Emily for the constant encouragement, Dan and Deimantas for the help with hanging them up, and last but not least Mikaela for being extremely sincere about it.

Contrary to the popular belief “Trying is the first step towards failure” I say “Trying is the first step towards success”
