Revenge of the Sith

A lot of things happened this past week and here’s a quick summary. Hopefully, one of these days I can do an entry each day instead of writting a book every Sunday.

Monday, we had our last track practice, aside from that school was pretty casual.

Tuesday we had our last track meet and I officially became a United State Citizen. My parents got sworn in at around 1pm in downtown Chicago, and this makes me and my brother citizens of this country. My last track meet went great as well, the whole meet had a fun feel to it instead of the usual pressured feel. I ended the season with a good time and a PR so I was happy.

Wednesday, I had my first class interview, First class is this monthly character building program my school has. The interview was because I applied to become a first class leader, I get to find out Monday if I made it or not. There were many worthy candidates and my interview didn’t go as well as it could have so I’m not sure if I made it.

Thursday, my semester project binder was due, other than that nothing too great.

Friday, I had my Semester Project Presentation and I saw the Episode III. The presentation went better than I expected, I feel as if I did pretty well on the presentation and the project in general. Later on I saw Star Wars : Episode 3 - The Revenge of the Sith with a couple of my friends. I like to call myself a Star Wars admirer, I like the movies, and I’m pretty familiar with the general story. I don’t read the books, I don’t memorize the movies, and I can’t do the Chubaka noise. In a general aspect, this movie was amazing, even for those who have newer seen a Star Wars movie, this episode made it possible to understand the general story and to relate with it. For someone who’s seen the Star Wars movies, this movie really tied up the story and ended the series with a bang. George Lucas added a component to Episode 3 that I felt was missing from Episode’s 1, 2. He added some drama and deepened the plot, he let the viewer imagine some of the story instead of spoon feeding it to us through the marvels of technology. It’s a definite movie for anyone who wants to learn about dangers of greed and the hunger for power.

i know what ya mean with the letting you imagine part… like(spoilers if you dont want to see them for those who havent seen it) when anakin attacks the academy, and the little kids like “what should we do master anakin? there are too many of them” and he turns on his saber and he cuts away… there was no better way he could have done that scene, cuz if he had shown him killing them it wouldnt have been near as evil seeming as it was. anyway, as for the sem project we have to turn in our book friday, but my speech yesterday went well
