Career Shadowing

This whole career week stuff started about a week ago when my L.A. teacher started passing out permission slips about a week ago. As part of career week, we have to shadow someone in the workforce and interview them. This sound incredibly boring to you, well it does to me too. But I thought, oh well school is boring. Then it dawned on me that they are making us shadow on an institute day. For those who don’t understand, and institute day is a day where teachers come in and talk about the curriculum. A.K.A. They discuss how to torcher us even more. But this is unfair. Why must we shadow some lame adult that hates their job and wishes to be home when we could be sitting at home and swallowing popcorn in front of the tube. I don’t understand and I never will. I’m shadowing my dad’s friend who is a pharmaceutical manufacturer. One good thing that has come out of this is that i’m now thinking a lot more about careers. I’m thinking about going into to Aerospace Engineering. We’ll see how it turns out.
